FREE KIDS DAY EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
HELD AT John James Audubon Park, Hwy 41, Henderson KY at Lakeview Shelter
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2008 9 AM – 2 PM
Hands-on workshops Scrubby Bear – pre-school Program instructing children the importance of good hand washing habits in preventing diseases
First Aid for Children Today (FACT) – grades K-3 The FACT Critter Clan leads kids through health promotion and injury prevention activities.
Basic Aid Training (BAT) – grades 3-5 Introduces children to safety information and first aid procedures and other emergencies.
Masters of Disasters – all grades Introduces children to disaster preparedness and safety activities.
Emergency vehicles will be present for children to visit Kids Safety House Henderson County Ambulance, Henderson Police Department Fingerprinting
