 For an example, see how the Faith-Based Community Initiative works:

· Faith-Based Community Initiative is a partnership between the Red Cross and the faith-based community that will enable our community to react more quickly in a disaster situation that calls for the opening of shelters by forming an action team and opening a Red Cross shelter in their own facility.

 · The Action team is trained by Red Cross staff
             and is equipped with a shelter kit for use during
             a shelter operation.

· Faith-Based Organization is certified as a Disaster Relief Shelter in the Faith-Based Community Initiative Program!!
